Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
EduFellow Distance Training Institute (hereinafter "Institute") processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those listed below, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent under the Personal Information Protection Act will be implemented.
- Member registration and management
- Training service provision
- Learning management and certificate issuance
- Customer inquiry processing
- Marketing and advertising
Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Institute processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from data subjects or within the period prescribed by law.
Retention Period:
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal
- Course history: 5 years after completion
- Payment information: 5 years (E-commerce Act)
Article 3 (Personal Information Items Processed)
The Institute processes the following personal information items:
Required Items:
Name, email, mobile phone number, date of birth, affiliated school, school level
Optional Items:
Address, phone number
Automatically Collected Items:
IP address, cookies, service usage records, device information
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Institute processes personal information of data subjects only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information) and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as consent of the data subject or special provisions of law.
Article 5 (Destruction of Personal Information)
When personal information becomes unnecessary due to expiration of retention period or achievement of processing purpose, the Institute destroys the personal information without delay.
- Electronic files: Permanently deleted in a manner that prevents recovery and reproduction
- Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated
Article 6 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
Data subjects may exercise the following personal information protection rights against the Institute at any time:
- Request for access to personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to stop processing

Article 8 (Changes to Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the implementation date, and if there are additions, deletions, or corrections of changes according to laws and policies, it will be announced through notices 7 days before the implementation of changes.
This policy is effective from January 1, 2025.
